In a recent revelation, Frances Tiafoe’s match at the ATP Delray Beach Open grabbed attention for all the wrong reasons that one could have thought of. During the intense match, something very unexpected happened and amidst a tight encounter, a fan was spotted inside a BMW car which was parked in one of the corners of the court.

A fan took to X (formerly Twitter) and tweeted a photo of someone casually watching the game from the comfort of a parked BMW, calling it an ‘American (derogatory), dystopian tennis experience. The image went viral, overshadowing the on-court action and turning heads towards the peculiar fan setup.

“I can’t think of a more American (derogatory), dystopian tennis experience than watching a match from the confines of a BMW car parked in one corner of the court lol,” said the fan.

Instead of focusing on top-notch tennis, the tournament found itself making headlines for these odd scenes, as spectators were more captivated by the bizarre sight than the game itself.

Against Cobolli, he made sure that he did not waste much time and went ahead to win the match in straight sets.  The final scoreline of the match ended 6-4, 6-2 in favor of the young American.
