His ability to get the rally he wants is possibly his biggest strength. Switching directions without implementing too much more risk is so hard”.

To that, another Twitter user added, “A little like @AndreAgassi”. Andy Roddick was quick to respond to this parallel drawn between the two. He further added, “I actually feel like Andre is the closest comp for game style. He’s four inches taller and covers 3 more feet of court on each side. Can rely on D. Just crazy how the game evolves”.

After drawing a parallel between Novak’s and Andre’s game, Andy Roddick also highlighted Novak’s tactic to get the better of Carlos Alcaraz in his match yesterday. He mentions how pumping the ball down the line in full defense by Novak is not something that is easily handled. It is something that Carlos has not seen something like that.
