Shelton stated that he studies and observes Rafael Nadal, but he couldn’t do so without stating his love for Roger Federer.

Ben Shelton said, “I observed and studied Nadal, trying to steal some secrets, but my favorite has always been Federer.” Shelton has said in the past that he looked up to Rafa when he was a child.
