The loss raised a line of questions regarding his performance at the 2022 French Open. However, unlike Rome, Nadal has dispatched his opponents, notably the defending champion, Djokovic, in the 2022 French Open.

Yesterday, following his win over Djokovic in the quarterfinals, Nadal opened up about the difference between Rome Masters and the French Open. He said, “At Rome I didn’t have my doctor with me. Here, I have him, you can do things. I’m doing everything that I can to play this tournament the best conditions possible. After that, I don’t know how it will be to be honest, but here I’ll be fine.”
