With the upcoming Barbie movie, Disney has reignited the passion for the animated series. Starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, even tennis celebrities can not help raving about it. Recently, the Norwegian tennis star Casper Ruud opened up about how he feels about Ryan Gosling. Recently, the 24-year-old player has chosen pop singer Niall Horan over Gosling when it came to his resemblance with the two.

However, it is just not Casper Ruud who has been talking about Ryan Gosling. Recently, other tennis players like Ons Jabeur have also talked about him. Seems like the tennis realm is a bit obsessed with Ryan Gosling at the moment.

The top-seeded player has on multiple occasions portrayed his impressive skills with the racquet. A true sportsperson and a diligent player, Ruud has mostly stayed out of the spotlight. However, his good looks are just an added factor that has made him the talk of the town.

In a candid interview with ATP, he was asked about his lookalikes. He honestly stated, “I’ve been told that I look like Niall Horan.” Safe to say,  the resemblance is uncanny.

Furthermore, he stated, “And also, is it um… Ryan Gosling? I don’t really agree but he plays in the new Barbie movie and when I had the blonde hair I just saw a comparison with him and I having like really, really blonde hair.”

Giving his verdict in the end, he stated, “So I guess that’s why but I would say more Niall Horan. I can actually see myself as well.” 

Right now the player will face off against Matteo Arnaldi in the first-round match of the Madrid Open. No matter what the player looks like, in the end, his skills on the court are what made the player successful and catapulted him to stardom.

One such fan is Ons Jabeur who had a “romantic photoshoot” with her rival Belinda Bencic before the finals of the Charleston Open. After winning, when she was asked if she would do the same with Ryan Gosling, she agreed. Jokingly pointing out the fact that her husband was not there, she showed her willingness to do so.
