It even caused tennis professionals Benoit Paire and Fabio Fognini to lash out against the sport. Consequently, Babolat, tennis racquet sponsor for both of them, has put out a statement on their recent outbursts.
To put it mildly, the French professional and World No.35 Benoit Paire is unhappy with the tennis bubble life. Hence, he once celebrated his first-round loss and has repeatedly expressed his disinterest in playing tennis.

On the other hand, the World No.27 Fabio Fognini recently was disqualified from the Barcelona Open 2021. Although he claims to have said nothing, he was defaulted because of verbal abuse against the line judge.
Babolat issues a statement on Benoit Paire and Fabio Fognini meltdowns
The French sports equipment company has decided to take a stand against the two players. In an official statement on their Twitter account, Babolat expressed their passion and love for tennis.
The message said, “At Babolat, tennis runs in our blood. We believe in the strength of our sport and, defend its values of respect, fair play, team spirit, friendship and fun of the game. Sometimes a family member can go through a complex period and forget the importance of these values and the example we must pass on to all fans of the sport.”

“Does Not Correspond to Reality”: Fabio Fognini Vows to Appeal His Barcelona Open 2021 Disqualification
“Concerned about the recent outbursts of Benoit Paire and Fabio Fognini, we have informed them that we do not approve of their behavior. Today, we reaffirmed our values and the importance of respecting them. We will think in more detail with Benoit and Fabio about the suites to be given and see together how to accompany them,” the statement read.

Despite the current situation, Benoit and Fabio have unquestionably contributed tremendously to tennis. Moreover, Spanish World No.3 Rafael Nadal even backed the Frenchman as a great guy.
Hopefully, they both will settle down the heat soon and continue on their road to Roland Garros. Because in the end, players like Paire and Fognini, who are full of emotions, also make the sport more entertaining.
