Circus artiste Lili Paul-Roncalli, who is rumored to be in a relationship with Austrian tennis star Dominic Thiem, has finally broken her silence on the link-up stories involving the two. The 23-year-old had been at the focus of attention on social media after an image of herself along with her rumored beau went viral earlier this year.

Even as Lili remained shrouded in silence as the adorable image got the tennis world abuzz, Thiem opened up on the relationship confirming that they were, indeed, dating and were planning on a lifetime of happiness together.

But she hastened to add that her personal life is not something she prefers sharing with the whole world. “I keep my private life out of the public eye as much as possible. I’m very happy at the moment,” said the circus artiste, who is a former winner of popular dance reality show ‘Let’s Dance’.

In an earlier interview, the 23-year-old had hinted about being a private person saying that her friends have to facetime with her on social media instead of taking her out. “My friend has to endure talking to me more often via facetime,” she said in another interview in July 2020.

Thiem has been struggling professionally of late

While things seem to be going well on the relationship front, Thiem has been struggling professionally of late.

Coming into the Australian Open on the back of his maiden Grand Slam title at the US Open last year, Thiem fell tamely in the fourth round after overturning a two-set deficit to beat home favorite Nick Kyrgios in Round-3. He followed up his disappointment at Melbourne Park with two early exits in Doha and Dubai.

Returning from a seven-week break from the Tour to rest his niggles and rediscover his appetite for titles, Thiem reached the semifinals in Madrid.

However, indifferent runs in Rome and Lyon and an opening-round loss at the French Open brought the spotlight back on his supposed decline.
