“Dominic Thiem”: Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev Pick Their Best Mate

On the ATP Tour, we see players competing fiercely on the tennis court. However, off the court, a lot of them are good friends which will make fans wonder – who are their best friends? Each player would list quite a few but it seems like they all have one player in common – Dominic Thiem.

As you can see in the above video, players like Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas were asked about who they get on with best. Some of them gave quite a few names and Thiem was always one of them.

None of them gave a reason except Tsitsipas. He said that their friendship was based on arguing about whose single-handed backhand is better as each player prefers theirs. Well, the only people who can settle this argument are the fans and they will surely like to give their opinion.

Moving on, after all the players revealed their best friends, Thiem was asked about his. He said that he gets along with all players on the Tour but in the end, he chose Alexander Zverev. The German would have surely liked to hear that.

Thiem is friends with all the players on the Tour. But right now, he is seeing all of them as competitors as he is battling for the title at the 2020 ATP Finals.

The Austrian has been doing incredibly well there as he won his first 2 matches. This has guaranteed him a spot in the semi-finals which he is definitely happy about.

Last year, Thiem was very close to winning the title as he lost to Tsitsipas in a thrilling final. He will want to go the whole way this time and everyone is hoping that he will.
