In a recent interview, Thiem emphasized that tennis would relatively be normal in 2021. However, he also believed that there would still be longer breaks due to the pandemic.

“That we can play through a year and I have the results again and continue the trend from 2020 and 2019. I hope that apart from tennis certain normalcy will return in 2021,” said the Austrian player.

Thiem clearly focussed on two issues. Firstly, he said that he would want to continue his good form even in 2021. Secondly, the 27-year-old firmly believed that tennis would get back to normal in 2021.

Not only players, but even fans also want to get back to a normal routine. They will surely wish that Thiem’s words come true.
