Known as the entertainer of the game, Nick Kyrgios has grabbed a few headlines over the last couple of weeks for all the wrong reasons. The Australian tennis player came under heavy criticism after his racket throw incident at the Indian Wells. The Miami Open also brought him into controversy when he clashed with the chair umpire. As a result of those two matches, he received a combined $60,000 fine from the ATP. Currently, the Aussie player is playing in a challenger tournament as he shared a very important message about self-esteem for his fans.

Nick Kyrgios conveyed a very important message 

Recently, Nick Kyrgios shared a post on his Instagram where he talked about being yourself and other things. As he is playing an ATP challenger tournament in Houston, the Aussie player shared a few pictures of himself in the actions, and in the caption, he wrote, “being yourself is underrated, don’t let that go over ya head.”

Along with his picture, he also shared a picture with his teammate, Jack Sock, on Instagram. Notably, the Australian star paired with American star Jack Sock in the ATP Houston tournament. 

Kyrgios to play the French Open after four long years

During the Australian Open, Kyrgios expressed his displeasure about playing on clay courts. Also, he hasn’t played at the French Open for four years. However, this time he changed his mind because of his girlfriend, Costeen Hatzi. 

According to the Aussie player, his girlfriend really wants to see Paris and which immediately changed his mind about the French Open and clay-court tennis. To prepare for the French Open, Kyrgios is currently playing in the challenger event in Houston. 

It’s safe to say, his return on the red surface has been a success, as he reached the quarte-final of that tournament after winning his first two matches. Also, in the doubles event, he won his first match partnering with Jack Sock. Meanwhile, fans are pretty excited to see Kyrgios back at the French Open.
