‘Don’t Put Me on the Spot’ – 25-Year-Old American Tennis Star Blushes When Poked About His Karaoke Prowess as He Struggles to Sing at Wimbledon Championships

Frances Tiafoe loves to entertain the crowd and his friends. He is certainly one of the most extroverted players on tour. The American is always catching people’s attention with his celebrations or trick shots on the court. Even among his peers, he is the prankster who loves to play pranks on and off the court. Certainly, nobody has seen the shy side of Tiafoe as he always oozes confidence. However, a particular clip managed to capture Tiafoe blushing.
Prior to Wimbledon, The BBC invited selected tennis players to their short-questions session. The likes of Frances Tiafoe, Coco Gauff, and Stefanos Tsitsipas made the exclusive list. Unsurprisingly, the entertainer Tiafoe’s session was the standout one here.
The unexpected sight of Tiafoe blushing

Tiafoe’s short question was running pretty smoothly. However, things got interesting when he was asked what was his go-to Karaoke song. He replied instantly saying, “Let Me Love You by Mario“. The hosts then encouraged Tiafoe to sing, but the American started blushing.
In fact, the questioner also started humming some of the lyrics himself. Tiafoe said, “Dude, don’t put me on the spot right now (laughs). I can’t do it, I can’t. Nah, there’s too many people here.”

However, once the host started reciting the lyrics, Tiafoe joined him and hit a few notes with the BBC organisers. They also complimented Tiafoe’s voice and had a friendly exchange with plenty of laughter. Tiafoe said, “That’s super dope” to the organisers as he surely enjoyed the moment despite the initial blushing.
Aside from his admiration for Mario’s music, Tiafoe also expressed his love for Oreos in the clip.

Frances Tiafoe loves Oreos!
The players were asked one thing that they would carry with them if they had to queue up for Wimbledon tickets. While pillows and other necessities were the common answers, Tiafoe once again came up with a standout response. He said, “Probably some Oreos, nothing like Oreos.”

If Oreos are the only thing Tiafoe would carry to a long queue, then the world number 10 has some serious liking for the world renowned cookies.
