While speaking to the media, a senior tennis journalist asked Fritz about his thoughts on his girlfriend’s effort to glamorize tennis through her Tik-Tok video. He took no time in coming out to support the video. Reacting to the people who showed disagreement or dislike towards the video, the 24-year-old termed them as the ‘older fan’. He put forward his point by comparing the people to himself.

He said, “I think you get your typical older fan maybe like upset about it. I don’t understand how anyone can get upset about it. I’m the one that’s a professional tennis player, I’m the one that does this for a living. I 100% agree with everything in that video.”

In the video, Morgan alleged that tennis is not considered a very popular and cool sport in the United States of America. Boyfriend Fritz felt no different and elaborated on his girlfriend’s point further.

He said, People know a couple, they know what the Grand Slams are, a couple little things about it, they’re like, What are you talking about? No, tennis isn’t talked about on ESPN unless it’s a very select few or under certain circumstances. You’re never going to hear SportsCenter talk about, Oh, so-and-so American won their match at, like, Monte-Carlo. It’s not popular like that.”
