Former tennis legend Roger Federer revealed that he is not completely away from his favorite sport. It has been almost one and a half years since Federer’s retirement. After that, this Swiss tennis maestro was spotted prioritizing his children and wife. Federer also spoke about doing his favorite things now which he missed out on due to his professional tennis career’s hectic schedule.

While Federer spoke about enjoying his family time, he was also spotted having a gala time with family at the Miami Open and Wimbledon last year. Now he finally spoke about how he can’t keep off from tennis for long.

Despite retirement, Federer couldn’t cut off from tennis completely. After all, he has a long association with the sport. Federer said- “I wanted to see how I felt to be as a quidam at a tennis competition. I felt very good. I like this sport and I don’t want to go away from it,”.

Besides, he is also doing many activities in South Africa through his foundation. Federer’s interest in South Africa started with his mother who is from the country. Federer commented- “My family roots are important. I was keen to pass them on to my children. We went to Lesotho with them last year, it was the trip of my life,”
