Novak Djokovic fell just one step short of what could have been his 24th career grand slam. The Serbian player lost to Carlos Alcaraz, a rising Spanish superstar in an enthralling game at Wimbledon that lasted around 5 hours. Since that loss, Djokovic has taken some time off the tennis court to focus on his practice and make a triumphant return at the US Open.
However, a constant practice sometimes can take a heavy toll on a player. Novak Djokovic thus took some time off his training and went to spend the nightlife with his wife Jelena Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic enjoys nightlife with his wife Jelena
After being off the court for so long, Novak Djokovic took some time out from his busy schedule to spend quality moments with his wife Jelena. In a video shared on Twitter, it can be seen that Novak Djokovic is enjoying the nightlife while dancing in a local club with his wife. The couple went to attend the concert hosted by popular singer and songwriter Vlado Georgiev. The couple danced in the rain and made some good memories together.

This is not, however, the first instance that the Serbian legend has been spotted at a club. However, this could be a good way to reduce his mental stress and get some time away from their hectic schedule. Also, going into the US Open, Djoker will need to have a fresh mindset after facing a shocker at the Wimbledon final. His coach Goran Ivanisevic also regarded that Alcaraz is in flying form and it will take him some stopping at the US Open.
However, at the US Open, there is a record that awaits him and he would definitely not want to be a part of that. But what is the record that he wants to run away from?
Novak Djokovic could create an unwanted record at the US Open
Even though Djokovic has won 23 grand slams in his career but there’s one record he does not want to associate himself with. Throughout the course of his illustrious career, Novak Djokovic has lost 12 grand slam finals now. Should he lose another at the US Open, he would be just one short of Martina Navratilova, who sits with 14 slam losses.

The only person with the most grand slam losses is Chris Evert, who stands at 16. Second is Martina with 14, followed by Djokovic at 12. Thus, Djoker would require a little help should he manage to reach the finals of the US Open.
