Mads Mikkelsen on Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Unquestionably, the 20-time Grand Slam champions Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have inspired millions with their performances. When asked if he had seen the Spaniard in Mallorca, Mikkelsen said“Yeah. I’ve seen him [Nadal] quite a few times. Not here, but I’ve seen him play in the French Open.”

Furthermore, the Danish actor revealed that he and his wife are Nadal fans. But most significantly, he talked with great admiration for the Swiss maestro. “Nothing beats Federer though. Even when he loses, he’s just amazing to watch. It’s insane,” the Dane added.

The record 13-time French Open champion, Rafa Nadal, has single-handedly reigned over the clay courts for the last 15 years. On the other side, the 8-time Wimbledon winner, King Federer, has brought the world to love tennis with his exquisite playing style.

Summing things up, Mikkelsen noted that it was the contrast in their style that makes them exceptional.

“It’s wonderful to watch this bull terrier Nadal, who is so physical and intelligent, playing this elegant sh*t, Federer, who’s playing the finest violin in the world. If they were both playing the same way, it might be boring,” the Doctor Strange movie actor said.
