Recently, the official Twitter account of the US Open shared a picture of the ‘The Beauty and the Beast’ actress, sweltering under the New York heat as she enjoys the match with Roger Federer’s close friend, Anna Wintour, by her side.

Along with that, the caption read, “Emma Watson watching tennis is everything.” In that video, the 33-year-old British actress looked stunning in a black top. Wintour wore a fluorescent green floral dress for the occasion. While the British actress being present at the tournament astonished a lot of tennis fans, the fact that she enjoyed the show with Vogue magazine’s editor, with whom Federer co-chaired the Met Gala this year, turned heads.

The 41-year-old Swiss ace’s friendship with Wintour goes back in time, and both of them are a perfect example of fashion meeting tennis halfway. Nevertheless, the Editor-in-Chief of Vogue revealed a few months ago how their friendship started while making a huge revelation regarding being a huge Federer fan in the fashion industry.

Over the years, the 73-year-old British editor has cherished a good friendship with the 20-time Grand Slam champion Federer. But apart from being a friend, a few months ago she revealed how their friendship began by sharing her inner Federer fan feelings. According to ‘tennis.com’, she first met the 41-year-old Swiss tennis legend in 2005 when he was in town to participate in the US Open.

A friend of Wintour set up their first meeting, knowing that she was a huge fan of him and his tennis achievements. In addition, she also detailed how she has even missed a lot of occasional fashion shows, giving up her privilege just to witness the former World Number One play on the tennis court.
