Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has been one of the best players over the past couple of seasons. The manner in which the star player has gone about activities in his career has been lethal.

The former World No. 1 player has been dealing with a lot of backlash from representatives from around the world due to the on going crisis situation between Ukraine and Russia. Recently, a British minister spoke on the possibility of banning Russian players at the Wimbledon Championships this year.

Daniil Medvedev give an honest opinion of his views

Reacting to that claim, Daniil mentioned that different countries have different policies. There may be organizations of various tournaments that may adopt a policy of not conducting the tournament anymore. At the end of the day, he accepts the situation no matter what may be the outcome.

Speaking on this subject, Medvedev stated, “Every country can set their own rules. Maybe tomorrow somebody’s gonna announce, I don’t know, that we don’t want any more tennis tournaments. Say one country has a Grand Slam, and maybe some other Masters events are gonna say ‘We don’t want any more tennis in our country. That’s how life is.”

At the moment, he is all set to compete in the Miami Open. He will be facing three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray in his opening-round match. We wish both players the best of luck and the very best for the remainder of the season.
