‘Everything Truly Happens for a Reason’ – Nick Kyrgios Pens an Emotional Message Ahead of Wimbledon Championships

Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has become one of the true faces of entertainment on the court. However, he has faced criticism from many for his meltdowns and antics during matches. After a sensational start to the season in Melbourne, the 27-year-old has gone off the boil in recent months.

Kyrgios has been active on social media posting videos of his training regime, family among other things. With over 2 million followers, the Australian has become a popular tennis figure on the Internet.

Nick Kyrgios pens down touching message on Instagram

In his latest post, Kyrgios shared an inspirational message with a video of him at Wimbledon against Rafael Nadal. The caption read, “I feel like we come to a place in our life where no matter what we been through, deep down inside we know everything’s gonna be aight! So laugh at the bad times, live in the moment, and know that everything truly happens for a reason!”

The Australian has admitted to struggling with mental health in the past. Kyrgios also battled depression during the last decade spent on the professional circuit. He also left home at a young age and was constantly traveling on the ATP Tour. However, Kyrgios has had his run-ins with the law. Last season, a brutal meltdown saw him put on probation by the ATP and ordered to seek professional help.

Kyrgios returns to Wimbledon this month

After a lengthy layoff from the clay season, Kyrgios will make his return at the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. His best performances have come at SW19, including the famous upset in 2014 against Rafael Nadal.

The Australian has notched up stunning wins in 2022, including a 52-minute domination of Russian Andrey Rublev in Miami earlier this year. Kyrgios has slipped to No. 76 in the ATP rankings, but continues to pose a threat if in best form.
