The Ultimate Tennis Showdown is back and so are some of the most entertaining trick shots in the sport! On its American debut, UTS has invited plenty of American stars, including Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Ben Shelton. The likes of Diego Schwartzman and Alexander Bublik were also among the other ATP stars to feature in the event. As the fifth edition of the much-awaited Showdown commences, quite fittingly, an American grabbed all the headlines with his ridiculous net skills. Surprisingly, it wasn’t Fritz or Tiafoe, but Shelton.
Once the video went viral, the fans were awe-struck by Shelton’s brilliance. The fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts on Shelton’s heroics.

Twitterati hails Ben Shelton’s cat-like reflexes
In his first encounter against Alexander Bublik, Ben Shelton stole the show. It was towards the end of the first quarter when he came to the net and drew his opponent to the same with a half-volley pickup. Bublik tried to smash the ball right back at the American’s body, but Shelton blocked the ball with his racket and got it past Bublik to register a winner.
The players couldn’t believe it and neither could the commentators.
How 😮 !!!!
