As the annual Desert Smash is about to kick in action today, tennis star Hubert Hurkacz seems to be filled with excitement to be a part of the amazing event hosted by Charlize Theron.

Hurkacz is gearing up for his debut at the highly anticipated 20th Annual Desert Smash charity event. The event, known for bringing together Hollywood celebrities and professional tennis players, is set to ignite a fire like never before at the luxurious La Quinta Resort & Club.

Amid the excitement of the event, Hubert Hurkacz also revealed his graced thoughts about being a part of the charity event. “I’m excited to take part in the Desert Smash this year. It’s the 20th anniversary but personally my first time at the event so I’m really looking forward to it,” he mentioned, in an exclusive interview with ES.

Hubert Hurkacz also highlighted his satisfaction with the charitable aspect of the event, mentioning that the gathering will also benefit The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project. He said, “I was also very happy to hear that the proceeds will benefit The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which supports the health and safety of young people in South Africa.”

The Desert Smash, known for bringing famous celebrities to indulge in fun activities with the tennis stars, has a great history of unleashing fun parties like nowhere else. Being tempted by that particular side of the event, Hurkacz added, “It always feels extra special to be a part of such events, especially the ones supporting the youth in any way. Can’t wait to get on court at the amazing La Quinta Resort & Club and have some fun before the BNP Paribas Open kicks off.”
