Soon after announcing his comeback in the upcoming season, Rafael Nadal has taken himself for a tough training schedule in Kuwait. Accompanied by young tennis star Arthur Fils, the legend is trying to train like he did while he was young. Recently, Fils sent an update on Rafa’s performance which acted as good news for the tennis world.

The tennis world could think of anything but celebration as Rafa himself came forward to confirm the rumors of his comeback in the upcoming season. Soon after the confirmation, Rafa packed his bags and left for an extensive training schedule in Kuwait. Bringing another surprise for the fans, the tennis star was accompanied by the rising star Arthur Fils.
While the training partners have been away for quite a while, Fils recently conveyed an update on Rafa’s form through none other than Roger Federer’s former coach Ivan Ljubičić. While fans stood worried about Nadal’s comeback because of the unseeded situations ahead, former coach Ivan Ljubičić, who worked with Roger Federer, came forward to reassure fans of the Spaniard’s rebuilding strength as he mentioned, “Nadal? Fils wrote to me that he is playing at a very high level. I still expect great things from Rafa.”

As the tennis legend Rafael Nadal is gearing up for his return to the court in 2024 after a long hiatus, Lukas Rosol recently put forward the challenges that the Spaniard will have to face on his road to make space again in the ATP rankings.
“Yes, Rafa will start again soon, probably already in AO24 (Australia Open). It is gonna be a big challenge because he is already 37 years old, and for sure he will face many problems and challenges. I think it will be his last year and a maximum of 12 tournaments. I don’t think he can do more,” he said, indicating an early exit for the tennis star.

As Nadal prepares for his comeback, fans are still in a state of confusion about the hurdles he might encounter given his age and past injury.
