Andy Murray decided to reshuffle his coaching team as he adds his most successful coach – Ivan Lendl in the mix. Many people have mixed reactions to it. But former world no. 1 and Eurosport Tennis expert Justin Henin considers it as a positive thing.
While discussing the Murray-Lendl combination, Justin said she was surprised even though the pair have performed well together in past. Tennis 365 broke the news about the reunion which spurs the wave of reactions from fans and experts around the world.

What did Justin say about the pairing

 Former world No. 1 and now part of Eurosport experts Justin Henin said she has respect for Murray’s desire to keep pushing for the best. 7-time Grand Slam winner Henin said“I have a lot of respect for the fact that Andy Murray keeps looking for ways to come back. You can feel there’s still this pleasure to be there, this desire to continue to push yourself, to go forward.”

Reacting to the possible outcome of the pairing Justin was more subjective as she said, “Will it work? It depends on the goals he sets. From personal experience, I think it’s the pleasure of the human adventure too; being able to surround yourself with the right people and to feel the right moment.”

 Well, the pairing had a good record and certainly the right “people” around Murray to go forward. Henin sees the decision as a positive one when she added, “If Murray comes back to Lendl and Lendl comes back to him it’s because between them there are extremely positive things that allow them both to continue to move forward and grow.”

Andy Murray will be playing his qualifier match in Indian Wells, but Lendl might join him for the Miami Open Later this month.

Andy Murray and Ivan Lendl – a success Mantra

 The Scottish star Murray had huge success with Ivan Lendl in his side. Andy Murray won all his 3 Grand Slams and Olympic Gold Medals under Lendl’s guidance. They paired up in 2012 when 7-year Pro Murray was at his peak but unable to win any Grand Slam. He did make it to the Australian Open finals in 2010 and 2011 but was defeated by Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic in their respective finals.

In 2012 Murray won his 1st Wimbledon and also a US Open Championship after defeating Novak Djokovic on both occasions. Then they paired up in 2016 and won his 3rd overall Grand Slam (2016 Wimbledon) and ended the year as World No. 1.
