Charles Leclerc is watching the semi-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters

The Monacan F1 driver, Charles Leclerc, is currently enjoying a great season with Ferrari so far. After winning the recently concluded Australian GP, the Monacan seems to be enjoying live action at the Monte Carlo Masters. Earlier, he posted a boomerang video on his Instagram story, where we saw him watching the match between Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Grigor Dimitrov

It seemed like he was there to watch both the semi-finals, as the No.2 seed, Alexander Zverev, and the No.3 seed, Stefanos Tsitsipas were scheduled to play next.

Meanwhile, Charles has been in tremendous form since the beginning of the season. In Bahrain, he won the Opening race, and he won Australian Grand Prix as well. Right now, the Monaco-based driver is leading the chart with the most number of points.

The semi-finals feature Zverev, Tsitsipas, Dimitrov and Davidovich Fokina

In the first semi-final match, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina continued his fairy-tale run at the Monte Carlo Masters. He edged past Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-7(2), 6-3 in 2 hours and 44 minutes to reach his maiden Masters 1000 title. After winning the opening set, the young Spaniard faltered while serving for the match in the second set as Dimitrov clawed his way back to win the set in the tiebreak. However, Fokina held his nerve in the deciding set despite losing his opening service game to eventually turn the tide in his favor.

In the other semi-final, Stefanos Tsitsipas breezed past Alexander Zverev to storm his way into a second consecutive final in the Principality. The defending champion, who recovered from the brink of defeat against Diego Schwartzman in the quarterfinal, was sharp from the get-go in his semifinal encounter. Zverev’s second serve totally deserted him and that cost him the match as Tsitsipas beat the German 6-4, 6-2 in one hour and 15 minutes on Court Rainier III.
