According to Shields, she would not have been able to move on from her mother without Agassi. When things between the actress and her mother came to a head in the 1990s, it was Agassi who helped Shields. Agassi provided Shields with access to his management team. Together, they cleared a Los Angeles office that the actress shared with her mother.
