Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz shared a close bond as the latter trained in Nadal’s academy. The Spanish duo did meet in the semi-finals of Indian Wells, where Nadal broke Carlos’ resistance and won a three-set thriller.

Rafael Nadal and Alcaraz’s head-to-head

18-year-old Alcaraz is touted to be the next big thing in tennis and was often compared to Rafael Nadal over the past few years.
