Rafael Nadal talks about getting nervous

Former world no.1, Rafael Nadal started the match pretty well, as he won the first set at 6-2. However, the match started to turn in favor of Korda from the second set. Then, in the third set, Korda had the match in his pocket, as he was 5-2 up and serving for the match. Unfortunately, the American got nervous and let the match slip from his grasp.

Speaking about it after the match, Nadal felt that he started to play well, as the American became really nervous. According to him, everyone gets nervous when they are about to win a match. “Well, it’s obvious that he makes some more mistakes, that’s true… for everyone, it’s the same no? We all get nervous when we have to win matches… If somebody tells you that there’s two options that he lies you or the other option is he really don’t care about the sport, no… But the rest of the players will get nervous to win the matches, no… and that’s it,” Nadal said about getting nervous.
