Sinner on a dream run

His performance graph skyrocketed just after the US Open where he had to see an early exit. He has managed to win 20 out of his last 22 matches of the season. He ended the week with 5/5 wins including the heroics against the Serbinator. Even here in Malaga, he was hitting the ball with supreme power from the baseline and had dominated most of the time throughout the match against Minaur.

Australia had defeated Italy in their past three meetings in the finals. But this time it was time to turn the tables. Australia and Italy are now automatically qualified for the 16-nations Finals which is scheduled to take place next year. It will be held across four cities and ITF had already announced on Sunday that the final eight will again be held in Malaga.
