The Swiss Maestro defined how the sport of tennis should be. He set a benchmark for the upcoming generation of tennis players over the course of his more than two-decade career. And after winning 20 Grand Slam titles, he bid farewell to the sport. Or did he?

Roger Federer has delivered pleasant news of his arrival at none other than the Laver Cup. The retired star took to Twitter to confirm his presence in Vancouver, where the Laver Cup is scheduled to happen in 2023. He released the message to his fans by tweeting, “Looking forward to seeing everyone in Vancouver @LaverCup #TeamEurope.” Announcing that this year’s Laver Cup is going to be in Vancouver, he shared the delightful news.

Now the fans have their fingers crossed as they are hoping to see Federer play on the court. Before retiring, Federer was suffering a serious hamstring and knee injury which stalled his performance for a long period of time.
