The GQ Men of the Year is an event that honors several men and awards some of the most talented personalities in several fields. Tennis, like many other sports, is also in the limelight at the event. Frances Tiafoe was one of the representatives of the sport. However, he was not alone, as he was accompanied by his girlfriend, Ayan Broomfield. The two even shared a cozy moment as paparazzi photographed the two.

Although it was a decorated event, only Broomfield and Tiafoe were the ones who represented tennis. Despite the absence, GQ Men of the Year has seen some of the biggest Tennis stars walk its red carpet.

Frances Tiafoe shares cozy moment with girlfriend on the red carpet

The GQ Men of the Year honors several men with accolades from many different fields. Frances Tiafoe attended the event, however, he could not win the ‘Man of the Year’ honor, but he certainly lit up the event with his presence. He wore an orange suit with a black shirt, and he accessorized the outfit with a wristband and a necklace. Ayan Broomfield donned a sheer black dress accompanied by a gold bracelet and a necklace as well.

When the two walked on the red carpet to get their pictures clicked by paparazzi, the two shared a kiss. The moment went viral as GQ and GQ Sports shared it on their Instagram page. They captioned the video, “Red carpet love ❤️“.

Along with their video, Tiafoe himself also shared a post on his Instagram page after the event. He shared two solo pictures and one picture with Broomfield. He captioned the post, “GQ man of the year party was tufff. Thanks for having the kid. Until next LA ✊🏿✊🏿 #GQBOYS #THATBOYCLEAAN #LALIGHTSBEBRIGHT.”

Tiafoe had a ball of a time at the GQ Men of the Year event. While it saw several other tennis players absent, it has honored many ATP players in the past.

Tennis shines at big events at GQ often. In 2019, Roger Federer was honored as the ‘Most Stylish Man of the Decade’ 2019 by the American magazineNovak Djokovic was honored by GQ in 2011 as the ACE of the Year. He received the honor as he rose sharply in 2011 and ended the year ranked number 1, similar to his ending in 2023.
