Travis Scott and John McEnroe are not a combination of names you would expect to hear in the same sentence. But recently the tennis legend and the Rap God were involved in a controversy where they bashed each other ruthlessly. The war between them was about the name of a sneaker that was being launched with their collaboration.

During their banter, they got into a fight because of their contrasting opinions. And now, Scott recently posted a video, in which he was seen spraying paint on McEnroe’s plaque in an unknown location. To this, American tennis star Francis Tiafoe responded, asking him to chill when it comes to McEnroe.

Once that video was posted, Frances Tiafoe reposted the same video on his official Instagram story. Along with the video, he added, “Damn Trav chill”. He found the incident funny as he asked Travis Scott not to escalate this with a series of laughing emojis.

However, Scott may still have some bitter memories from the ill-fated video meeting. Well, this is not the first time John McEnroe lost his temper. He is renowned for his temper during his heydays on the ATP Tour, with one of the infamous incidents coming during the Wimbledon Championships in 1981.

McEnroe’s serve was called out, which infuriated the American who said that “the ball was on the line”. Because of this, he lost his temper and even called the chair umpire incompetent and biased during one of the following points. He also shouted one of the most famous lines ever uttered on a tennis court – “You can’t be serious” multiple times, leading to a warning and later a point penalty.
