There was a major upset yesterday at the French Open 2022. Last year’s finalist, Stefanos Tsitsipas exited the tournament after losing to Danish youngster, Holger Rune. It was a disappointing loss for the Greece national, who was expected to make it to latter stages of the tournament after having been handed a comparatively easy draw.

Nonetheless, it was Rune’s biggest win of his nascent career. He became only the second player from Denmark after Caroline Wozniacki to reach the quarterfinals of the French Open in singles. After the match, Tsitsipas gave details of what went wrong for him.
