Swiss Maestro Roger Federer, who announced his retirement from the sport days before the start of Laver Cup, decided to team up with dear rival Rafael Nadal for one last time to end his career on a high. While the duo lost their match to Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe of team World, Federer received the best farewell as Nadal, Djokovic, and others got emotional as the Swiss star delivered his final speech.

Rod Lava,” he wrote.

Another fan tried to find out the reason behind this blunder.

I’m blaming the British accent for this one.”

Despite the funny criticism that came her way, Ellie Goulding recognized her mistake and wrote, “Haha oops, @LaverCup.”
