Currently, the PGA tour is hosting a championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, where many famous players like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and others are playing. While this event is going on, former American tennis star Andy Roddick recently teamed up with one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time, Peyton Manning, to bring a golf-inspired bourbon to Oklahoma. Roddick recently shared a post on Twitter to share the good news.

Andy Roddick and Peyton Manning teamed up for a golf-inspired whiskey

The American tweeted, “What the Ale: Peyton Manning and Andy Roddick bring golf-inspired bourbon to Oklahoma.”

In Oklahoma, Sweetens Cove Spirits Co. has launched Kennessee Bourbon, a combination of the union of Kentucky and Tennessee Bourbon. Meanwhile, Manning talked in detail about his bourbon production, and Roddick approached him to play golf.

“I’ve really enjoyed being a part of this Sweetens Cove team. Andy Roddick reached out to me wanting me to come play the (Sweetens Cove) golf course. I have a lot of ties to Tennessee. I’m very familiar with that area in East Tennessee, played the golf course, fell in love with it, understood why it was so special. Nine holes, public, accessible, old shed for the clubhouse. And so I said, ‘I’m in,” the retired footballer said

It is worth noting that the bourbon will be available in further 12 states in the USA apart from Oklahoma.

Roddick could have had more Grand Slam titles

While Roddick is enjoying great success after his retirement, he could have had a far better career. At least, he should have won more Grand Slam titles than just only one. The reason is probably the Big Three and particularly because of Roger Federer. In the past, he faced the Swiss Maestro 24 times, winning only three matches.

Most importantly, he faced Federer 7 times in Grand Slam events and didn’t win a single match. Out of those 7 meetings, four of them were finals, which Federer won, leaving Roddick with an empty hand.

However, both remain great friends off the court and the American recently took a jibe at Federer on his social media account. Recently, Federer posted a collage, where he was roaming Switzerland and having great time.

The duo share huge respect for each other in real life but Roddick doesn’t miss a chance to make fun of Roger.
