Novak Djokovic recently took a slight turn from tennis to celebrate glamour and glory at the Laureus Sports Awards. The Serbian, besides being focused on regaining his form in the current tennis scene, took a day off to dress up in style and share the floor with the best athletes across the globe. While his appearance in a classy black suit was what the fans witnessed, Vogue decided to take a sneak peek and ended up spotting him in a bathing robe.

Recently, Vogue‘s official Instagram page shared a video in which Novak Djokovic and his gorgeous wife Jelena were captured in rare scenes, getting ready for the Laureus Awards. Jelena, who was seen sitting in front of the mirror, getting her makeup done, described the scenes, saying, “I am getting ready! I don’t know how I look. I am trying to look pretty for you and Novak is just taking a shower!”

Mentioning the fact that the tennis legend was taking a shower, she raises her voice in excitement to ask, “Are you finished?”. Right after listening to her call, the Serb opens the door and slides into the frame by dancing in style and changing the air of the room with his goofy style.

“Tonight for the Laureus Sports Awards in Madrid, I am going to wear Brunello Cucinelli, I love this brand. Loved their brand for many years and I’m really honored. I’m gonna walk onto the red carpet wearing black, a bit more elegant, a bit more classy, and then I’m gonna wear a white jacket on the table,” he narrates, describing his plans for the annual event. 

As the Serb and his wife revealed backstage moments of their life, it not only captivated the attention of the fans but gave them another glimpse of their favorite tennis legend’s jolly nature. To ease the environment even more, the Serbinator then proposed putting on some tunes!

Novak Djokovic reveals his choice of music

In the same video where Novak Djokovic was seen getting ready to receive the Sportsman of the Year award, he was also seen proposing music to soothe their moods. “We need some music, Jelena what do you think?” he asks his wife. 

Curious to know her husband’s choice of the moment, she replies, “Surprise me, she says, all pressure is on you.” Unexpected for both Jelena as well as the fans, the Serb can be seen hitting the play button on a track with a rocking electronic guitar. Along with that, he also enjoys the vibe of dancing to the beat in full energy.
