In some really great and heartwarming news for tennis fans, former US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro is back on the court and can make a comeback anytime soon.
The Argentine player has had multiple knee injuries in the recent past. He didn’t play a single professional match last year as he was in immense pain. He was treated at multiple hospitals and underwent his last surgery in Brazil.

Recently, Del Potro practiced really hard in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Even though he was wearing leg-supporting equipment during his training session, it became evident that the 32-year-old would be back on the court really soon. With this news, there are even chances that he’ll represent his nation at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
The former World No.3 player practiced some forehands and worked on his serve. Overall, he was hitting the ball quite well and fans surely want him to return to the court as soon as possible.

Juan Martin del Potro has been suffering from a knee injury for three years now. It was during the Shanghai Masters 2018 that he first suffered a patella fracture. It was a massive injury that forced him to stay away from the sport for about 130 days.

The Argentine returned to the court at the Delray Beach Open 2019. However, he injured his knee yet again during the clay-court season and couldn’t play much after the French Open 2019.
