The Open 13 tournament is underway right now in Marseille and Grigor Dimitrov won his first match there today. He played against Sebastian Korda and the two of them played off a very hard-fought battle against one another. However, the match was not the highest point of the day during that time.

It was when Grigor Dimitrov, the 32-year-old tennis star did something adorable for one of his fans in the stands and everyone went crazy with his out-of-the-box gesture. He literally went out of his way to make this fan feel special right after his match. Let’s find out more.

After defeating Sebastian Korda at the Open 13 tournament’s first match today, Grigor Dimitrov was very well appreciated by his fans who were present in the stands. Owing to the overwhelming response he got from them, he went ahead and gave his wristband to the fan in the stand who was cheering for him.

But that is not where it ended. He also went to the stands by the side of the fan and actually clicked a picture with him. Well, if we were in the place of that fan, our day would have definitely been made.

After his hard fight match against Korda, Dimitrov not only was very happy about winning the game but also very appreciative of his opponent. He had a lot to say about what an amazing experience it was for him to play against Korda and what a great player he is.

In a media interaction after his first match against Korda, Dimitrov had a lot of good things to say about him. He shared how he thinks that Korda is one of the most dangerous players to play against on any kind of surface. He also added, “I knew he was gonna be tricky. he’s very crafty, & I like that. He can always put me in an uncomfortable position.

Further Grigor Dimitrov also shared that he was finding it very difficult to maintain his position during the match and the game almost broke him. He had to find a way to get back and it was not easy at all.
