In her recently released memoir, ‘My Name Is Barbra’, the American singer and actress wrote about her dating life, including Agassi. She recalled the time when the player was a young gun in the ATP. He was set to play in the 1992 Wimbledon final, but since she did not follow sports, she was unaware of his existence. But the tennis player had already found himself enamored by the star.

Steve Wynn, a hotel tycoon, had told her about him and how he admired her. Streisand, still not aware of Agassi, simply said, “Who?“. “Since I don’t follow sports, I hadn’t heard of him,” she explained in her book. “Steve explained that he was a tennis champion who was going to be playing at Wimbledon, so I said: ‘Oh, wish him well from me’.’

Even though she did not know of him, Agassi’s persistence in wanting to meet her eventually led to a brief romance. During their time together, the tabloids often talked about their age gap. A similar question popped up to him in an interview, and he talked about how he dealt with it.
