She found a break in the constant travel since the Aussie player has been injured since January. But Hatzi recently traveled to meet her family in Greece, which is a long flight away from Australia. She recently shared about the trouble she has to go through to travel such a long distance.

The distance did not only do a number on the social media influencer. Kyrgios was also deeply affected as he missed his girlfriend while he was in Australia. The former number 13 recently shared his experience of being by himself for such a long time.

Costeen Hatzi dreads the journey back to Australia

Traveling around the world was made much easier when airplanes became usable for civilian passengers. However, the journey can still be daunting regarding the number of hours one has to travel from one place to another. Costeen Hatzi, Kyrgios’ girlfriend, is in the midst of a long journey to Australia.

The social media influencer is of Greek origin and visited her family in Greece for some time. Going back to Australia now, she has quite a ways ahead of her. Irritated at the long travel, Hatzi shared her frustration with her followers on her social media page.

She clicked a selfie and added it to her Instagram story. Along with it, she wrote the caption, “Worst thing about going to Europe is that it’s 3 flights and half a million hours away from Australia“.

While she misses being away from her boyfriend, Kyrgios is having a tough time on his own.

No more long distance for Nick Kyrgios

Nick Kyrgios has had a rather difficult year due to a hiatus borne of continuous injuries. The Aussie player cannot do much besides recovery training and spending time with his loved ones. But with his girlfriend away to visit her family, Kyrgios found it stressful. In a Q&A with his fans, he revealed that Hatzi was away, which is why she didn’t feature as much on his Instagram page.

He also said that he was fed up with the long distance and would never do it again. With his focus mostly on his girlfriend at the moment, Kyrgios has found ways to spend his days before his eventual return to court.
