Halloween is right around the corner, and all around America, people are preparing for the spooky yet special night. However, who would have thought that the tennis legend John McEnroe would inspire his fans to dress up like him for Halloween?

John McEnroe, famously known as “SuperBrat”  had an incredible tennis career but he was more renowned for his anger and outspokenness on the tennis court. Despite his on-court antics, the tennis star won eight Grand Slam singles titles and made his name in the tennis world with his carefree, unbeatable attitude.

Recently, the Executive Director of the Justice Action Network Holly Harris took to her social media account to share her son’s Halloween costume. It is fair to say that his costume took everyone by surprise. He looked just like the younger version of the famous American tennis legend. It looks like her son is one of the biggest McEnroe fans as he nailed the iconic ‘You Cannot Be Serious’ pose. 

She captioned the picture with the same catchphrase, “You cannot be serious?!?” Further, she also tagged the tennis player and added a goat emoji while concluding the caption.

It’s the same pose that the ‘SuperBrat’ used to vent out his anger on the tennis court during a Wimbledon match. It was arguably the most iconic lines uttered by a player on a tennis court, and even after decades, tennis fans cannot forget the famous rant of the player. Despite his outburst and the subsequent disciplinary actions, McEnroe went on to win the tournament. To win his maiden Wimbledon title, he defeated his arch-rival Bjorn Borg in the final.
