A new post-retirement prospect for Novak Djokovic surfaces

Besides being at the top of the game and having tremendous tennis skills, one thing that Novak Djokovic also has is world-class mental strength. Djokovic is a fervent Milan supporter so this makes perfect sense for him, to help the people of the club face challenges and get motivational support with his help. Even though this consideration was very serious, there was no discussion between the two about getting a proper offer for the role.

If the offer were to ever come true, the mental resilience and the mentality to win that the Serbian has would be a huge help for the AC Milan support staff. Well, Djokovic’s mental strength has not only impressed Gerry Cardinale but continues to be his biggest win that gets him through the matches as he previously admitted.

In one of his interviews, Novak Djokovic talked about how mental wellness is an area that people should pay more attention to because it is deserving and important. He added, “In an individual sport like this, you are on the court yourself and there is no one to help you when things go south. Of course, you have a team supporting you in the stands, but you have to work it out for yourself.

He also added that half of the mental work needs to be done before one even sets foot on the court. According to him, a player should have a long-term and short-term strategy to win the game. Do you agree with his point of view? Let us know in the comments below!
