‘He Doesn’t Give a F**k About You’- Fans Reach Boiling Point Over Carlos Alcaraz’s ‘One-Sided Friendship’ With Rival Jannik Sinner

Fans are upset about Carlos Alcaraz‘s growing fondness for his rival and colleague Jannik Sinner. This Spanish and Italian ATP prodigies have reminded fans of the great Federer-Nadal rivalry, which also offered a great friendship. Alcaraz always spoke highly of Sinner’s tennis skills, which showcased the Spanish tennis star’s admiration for his on-court rival. However, Alcaraz’s fans do not think the Italian tennis star deserves this love.

While Alcaraz presented a great liking toward Sinner, the latter also openly called Alcaraz his “good friend.” However, the Spanish ATP star’s fans are not quite satisfied with the Sinner’s compliment for Alcaraz. They want the Spanish tennis star to get a hold of his feelings and focus on the rivalry.

A reliable tennis source took their X (formerly Twitter) to share Alcaraz’s recent statement for Sinner. Alcaraz said- “Hopefully Jannik and I both have a long and beautiful future ahead of us.” Alcaraz defeated Roberto Carballes Baena by 6-2 and 6-1 to enter into the third round of the Miami Open Tournament 2024. Sinner also started the tournament with a great win against Andrea Vavassori by 6-3 and 6-4. This gives a chance to the fans to witness this amazing pair face off against each other at the tournament.

Last year, Sinner and Alcaraz played in the finals of the Miami Open tournament. While the Italian tennis star lost the game to Alcaraz, he expressed his happiness in the competition against the Spanish colleague. Sinner said– “I [am] happy to play against him again because I look forward to these kinds of matches, I feel like he makes me a better player. Here the court is fast. I think we both feel good here on these courts.”

While Alcaraz and Sinner both have shown a great gesture of friendship, Alcaraz’s fans are not convinced about Sinner’s friendship with the Spanish tennis star.

No matter how much Sinner and Alcaraz remind fans of the beautiful rivalry cum friendship between Federer and Nadal, Alcaraz’s fans are still apprehensive about it. Since the reliable source dropped Alcaraz’s comment on Sinner on the X  platform, Alcaraz’s fans flooded the platform with their opinions. One fan literally begged the Spanish ATP pro to stop talking about his friendship with Sinner.

People called Alcaraz’s feelings for Sinner a one-sided friendship.

Alcaraz’s fans surely didn’t take this gesture well.

Almost everybody reminded the Spanish tennis prodigy that Sinner doesn’t care about Alcaraz’s friendship.
