Fans love their players, and players love their fans. This cliched statement was recently epitomized when a fan came to meet her favorite player, Andrey Rublev. However, she could not control her emotions as her idol repaid her lovely gesture.

This was not the only instance when fans have become starry-eyed at the sight of Rublev. Last year, two amateur players had the chance to meet their idols, and they did not let the chance slip from their hands.

Andrey Rublev leaves a fan emotionally dazed
The Russian player is currently in the midst of his Italian Open stint and has advanced to round two. One major part of being a player of his stature is fan interaction. To keep his support alive, Rublev does not shy away from being open to his fans whenever they ask for a picture or a signature.

The world number 6 recently met one of his ardent fans at the Italian Open and took pictures with them. The gesture by Rublev sent his fan over the edge, as she started crying tears of happiness. Rublev was delighted to find out how much he was loved by his followers and hugged her back. The emotional video was shared by the official Instagram account of ATP Tour.

The presence of someone as famous as Rublev can be overwhelming. Last year, Rublev was walking down the lobby of La Caja Mágica stadium, and two young amateur players spotted him. The young girls were shy at first, but eventually mustered up enough courage to ask Rublev for a picture.
