Princess Kate’s mother is a Roger Federer fan 

We all know that Roger Federer shares quite a close connection with the Royals. In fact, he was there to attend the Princess of Wales’s sister’s wedding back in 2017. Subsequently, the same year in a BBC One documentary, Sue Barker: Our Wimbledon, Kate talked about her interest in tennis.

While talking about how she has grown up watching the sport. She also revealed that her mother, Carole Middleton, is a huge Federer fan. She recalled, “Roger [Federer] is my mother’s heartthrob. I don’t think she will mind me saying that. I think he probably knows that too.”

Further, she also talked about how being able to be a part of Wimbledon is just amazing as it inspires a lot of young people including herself. While she and her mother are tennis fans, Princess Kate’s father does not watch tennis too much. Nevertheless, Princess Kate’s mother will be quite excited to see her play tennis with the Swiss maestro. And recently, the former tennis legend displayed his timeless talent with the Princess of Wales.

As Wimbledon is right around the corner, the tournament shared a little tribute video for the Ball kids. In the video posted by The Times’ official YouTube page, the Princess of Wales co-starred with the eight-time Wimbledon champion. For the first time, they worked together to make a video about the ball kids. The ball kids play a huge role in making sure that the Wimbledon tournament goes smoothly.
