Russian World No.2 Daniil Medvedev is one of the most quick-witted personalities in the tennis world. Besides that, he has always been open about his love for playing FIFA on PlayStation. Funnily enough, he even celebrated his 2021 US Open triumph with a legendary FIFA celebration known as ‘Dead Fish.’ But now, Medvedev is stuck in a dilemma and has asked for tips from fans.

Interestingly, Medvedev shared a post on Instagram, where he is relaxing on a bench after tennis practice, whereas his wife Daria is sitting next to him. For this, he wrote a hilarious caption, stating the difference of interests between him and his wife.

As the legend says, you can’t get a FIFA lover to do anything except play FIFA. Likewise, the 25-year-old Russian Daniil Medvedev has put himself in a similar fix.

Medvedev wrote on Instagram, “When she wants to go have dinner, but all you want is to play Fifa guys do you have any tips? Help me.”

Naturally, the caption got many reactions from the tennis world as well as the soccer world. At first, Medvedev’s compatriot Karen Khachanov quipped, “Have you started to prepare for the next dirt season, bro?”

Additionally, Russian tennis star Elena Vesnina also reacted to his post. She hilariously said, “The wife is always right, but if not, then see paragraph one.”

What’s more interesting, the Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea also remarked on Medvedev’s question. He said, “FIFA?” with eyes emoji.

Earlier, even Ukrainian tennis star Elina Svitolina had called French professional Gael Monfils a “gamer husband.” However, it is all done in good sense and humor.

Here onwards, Medvedev will be looking forward to defending his ATP Finals title in Turin. However, considering the talent on the field in Turin, it might not be a cakewalk for the Russian.
