American tennis star lavishes praise on Roger Federer’s off-court personality
When comparing the Swiss tennis legend’s on-court prowess to that of his old adversary, Novak Djokovic, there may be a longstanding argument in the tennis realm. However, when it comes to comparing their off-court personality, the debate is pretty much settled for the American, Mackenzie McDonald.
In a recent interview with ATPTour.com, the 28-year-old opened up about how going to the offseason with the former tennis ace was the ‘coolest’ perk of being a pro player. He said, “Free stuff. [The coolest thing I’ve done] is getting to go to the offseason with Roger [Federer] in Dubai.”

In the process, the former UCLA star also hailed the Swiss as the pinnacle of the game while comparing his off-court “character” to that of Djokovic. He said, “[Novak] Djokovic is a legend now but I think Roger is the pinnacle to the sport. Nicest guy off the court, too. So I’m happy his character is so high.”

Apart from McDonald, another prominent figure in the tennis community recently lauded Federer’s ‘elegant and affable’ demeanor in the men’s circuit.

Italian tennis veteran is in awe of Federer’s personality
The former Italian tennis player, Andres Seppi recently issued some bold assertions about the heated G.O.A.T. debate on the ATP Tour. It was the Serb tennis star, Djokovic who attracted his emphasis when he opened up about the players with the best statistics on the court.

However, the 39-year-old tennis star also didn’t hold himself back from picking Federer for a different aspect of the game, style, and technique. While lavishing praise on him, Seppi asserted that the Swiss tennis legend, with his graceful personality, is the most “elegant and loved” player in the men’s circuit.
