At this moment, when Rune devoted his objective to finding a great coaching team, Serena Williams’s ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, jokingly offered her help. Serena Williams’s ex-coach Rennae Stubbs tweeted on her official X (formerly Twitter) clearing the rumor, which said that Stubbs might join Rune’s coaching team. She wrote, “I have been sent this by MANY people asking “is this true?” No it’s not! I don’t know who put this out but you’re a bunch of to do so with zero proof. My god! “ Now in Stubb’s tweet, Rune was spotted dropping his comment. He replied by saying, “Yes many confronted me too about this let them talk. Much too few female coaches on tour though.”

While Holger Rune and Rennae Stubbs jokingly cleared the air, Rune delved deeper to speak about the limited number of female coaches in professional tennis. Given that the statement is coming from an established tennis player like Holger Rune, it surely brought a lot of attention to the matter.
