Ahead of the highly awaited tennis carnival of the US Open 2022, the organizers planned US Open fans week. It was full of entertainment as various Hollywood celebrities and renowned performers graced the event.

Hollywood stars at the US Open

The performance of popular singer and songwriter Joe Jonas was one of the main attractions of the event. While fans enjoyed a musical night, a breathtaking performance from the Rock band DNCE doubled the fun.

Hollywood actress Eva Longoria also graced the event with a bold look in a black mini dress. Later, Spanish tennis star Garbine Muguruza also posted a picture with the actress on her Instagram account.

After a glamorous start to the event, the focus shifts back to some serious tennis, with the first round starting on Monday.

Stars in action on the first day

As per the tournament schedule, legendary tennis star Serena Williams will be in the action on Monday. Notably, the 40-year-old has already declared her retirement and will start her last US Open campaign with her opening day encounter against Danka Kovinic.

Further, speaking about the men’s singles, defending champion Daniil Medvedev will be in action against Stefan Kozlov. The Russian could not participate in the Wimbledon Championships 2022 and this will be his return to the Grand Slam.

Australian tennis ace Nick Kyrgios will face his doubles partner and compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis on the same day. All eyes will be on Kyrgios who comes from a Wimbledon final run. Former world number 1 Andy Murray will start his campaign against 24th seed Francisco Cerundolo.
