Jannik Sinner decides to keep away from his parents owing to a hometown tragedy

The tragic incident that took place in Sesto deprived the people of the town of not celebrating the success of Jannik Sinner. This has made the young player rethink his choices at the moment, which is why he probably decided to ditch the celebrations for now.

Not only that, but he has also decided not to meet his parents now. Sinner shared, “I would have liked to return to Sesto to see my parents. But there was a tragedy, with an accident where three people died. I don’t want to go to Sesto now for this reason, celebrating there is absolutely not the case, so I have decided to stay here in Rome.”

So, for now, he will be staying put in Rome and not continue this celebration. Even the Mayor of Sesto has delayed the honorary celebration for Sinner due to the tragedy.

It seems like the right move for now. Nevertheless, fans hope Jannik Sinner gets to celebrate with his parents soon following a historic championship run.
