World No.8 Dominic Thiem is currently recovering from a wrist injury. The Austrian player failed to defend his US Open title this year as he couldn’t compete at the Grand Slam. Surprisingly, he hasn’t won a single title this year.
Due to the injury, Dominic Thiem is currently not even representing Team Europe at the Laver Cup 2021. However, he was a part of the team in 2019 when the team won the title for the third consecutive time.
In his recent Instagram story, Thiem shared the memories of the Laver Cup 2019. In it, one can see him and other members of the Team Europe including the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal with the trophy.
