In the recent era of tennis, some of the biggest names in both the ATP and WTA Tour have faced suspension for the consumption of performance-enhancer drugs. After a certain period of their ban from competitive tennis, they are further allowed back to participate in various events by the tennis authorities. However, there are some players who haven’t been impressed with the decision of allowing those banned athletes.
The list also includes the British tennis player, Liam Broady who recently took to his social media to express his disappointment over the same. Speaking of it, the 29-year-old ATP star expressed his bafflement over the tennis authorities’ decision regarding a doping suspension.

Liam Broady isn’t impressed with players accused of drug consumption
Over the past decade or so, there were many names coming from the tennis community who were accused of using performance-enhancer drugs. After a certain period of their suspension, they were allowed to participate in various ATP and WTA tournaments. Taking note of that, the British tennis player is quite irked to see players accused of drug consumption competing on the court.
With his blunt criticism of the decision to allow them back, Liam Broady recently took to his Twitter to express his own opinion. He said, “If you get caught on PEDs in tennis, should you ever be allowed back into the sport to compete? How drugs cheats allowed back into the sport is beyond me”

The 29-year-old ATP has made it clear that he is baffled after seeing those “drugs cheats” participating in various tournaments. However, Broady didn’t mention any specific name of a player who faced a ban for PEDs consumption.
The tennis community also reacted to Broady’s controversial comments
A number of fans were quite skeptical after they took note of the British tennis player’s criticism on social media. There are many in the tennis community who have faced a doping suspension including the Ruussain tennis legend, Maria Sharapova, who used a substance called meldonium.
Notably, fans were confused about who Broady was referring to.
